Robert “Derby” Derbyshire, 67, passed away in Jacksonville, FL on March 10, 2017. Born in Syracuse, NY to the late Harold "Dean" and Claire Derbyshire on April 28, 1949, Derby moved to Jacksonville in 1998.

With a penchant for fast cars and classic rock, he lived to serve others and loved his family fiercely.

Derby is predeceased by his parents; two brothers, David and Michael "Mickey"; and grandson, Andrew.

He is survived by his loving wife, Denise; daughters, Aimee, Kimberly, and Trisha; son, Robert “Jamie” (Samantha); stepchildren, Shawn, Aaron, Stefanie, Rebecca, Kaitlin,...

A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held from 5:00-8:00pm on Thursday, March 16, 2017 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
